Well, today was a very exciting day. If you haven't heard already, The Old School Market will be announced in the events section in the May 2011 issue of House & Home. It's one of our favourite magazines and we couldn't be more thrilled. This will be great exposure for the market and the vendors. We hope this will bring in plenty of visitors to the market.
In the early planning stages, we put the word out for help with design for a poster to advertise for the market. Jessica, the owner of Trove Vintage Rentals and Paper Creations, was the first one to jump on the opportunity and she came through for us today. The poster turned out beautifully and we couldn't be more pleased. Don't you love it!
Obviously, the more visitors we have at the market, the better it is for everybody! Right? Lily and I will be doing our best to promote the market and we would like to ask for your help as well. Press kits, including this lovely poster and/or postcards, will be available . Please let us know if you are interested in a press kit and we will get one to you to help advertise the market and spread the word!
We can't wait to see the school house packed to the brim with vintage and handmade goodies. We are thrilled with the response we have had in just one week and would like to see all available spaces filled. If you are interested, or know of anyone who might be interested in becoming a vendor, we would like to encourage you to contact us. Once we receive your completed application, we will add your shop to our vendor list and your shop will be showcased in a feature post. To secure your spot at the market, please be sure to complete your application by April 1st.
Happy Friday!
Rachel + Lily
